Specialized Tailoring Project 

This collection studies the  iconic codes of the archetype of the Duffle Coat and redesigning them. The aim is to redesign the archetype while maintaining it’s key features and recognizable 
design element. Therefore the research mainly focused on the history of the garment and dissecting and understanding the use and function behind the different design elements in order to redesign them in a collection.
